New from Miles📺 How to Reinvent Your Life in 3 Months (step by step process) Most people wait until the New Year to “get their life together,” but we’re not like most people. In this video, I walk you through a step-by-step process to get a 3-month head start on the rest of the world. So when January 1st rolls around and the gyms are packed with people starting habits that will soon fade away, we’ll be Miles Ahead on our journey. Life Hack"The decent method you follow is better than the perfect method you quit." I came across this quote again recently, and it hit me just as hard as the first time I read it in Tim Ferriss’s The Four Hour Body a few years ago: ‘The decent method you follow is better than the perfect method you quit.’ It originally stood out to me in the context of health and fitness, but the idea can apply to pretty much any pursuit in life. Whether it’s building habits, working on a project, or even pursuing personal goals, it’s easy to get stuck chasing perfection. But what really matters is consistency—doing something consistently, even if it’s not perfect, will always take you further than waiting for the ‘perfect’ plan that never happens. What I’m ReadingHow to Make the Best Coffee at Home by James Hoffman Over the past month, I’ve experienced another classic case of getting obsessed with a random hobby and probably spending way too much time on it, only to forget about it in a few months —this time, it’s coffee. In reality, it’s more about the whole cafe-style beverage experience, from matcha to tea, but coffee has been the one to spark my latest obsession. I’ve been binging YouTube tutorials, reading books, spending my savings, and over-caffeinating myself, largely thanks to James Hoffman—a fellow YouTuber and the author of How to Make the Best Coffee at Home. James’s expertise in coffee is unparalleled, but what really blows me away is how effortlessly he sparks an interest (or in my case, an obsession) in his viewers, even if they weren’t into coffee before. It’s a beautiful art that aligns with his passion for coffee and his ability to bring others along for the ride. This is something I really appreciate and hope to incorporate into my own videos. Instead of being “that guy who won’t stop talking about his optimized routine or carnivore diet,” I want to be someone who inspires others to start paying attention to their health, lifestyle, and personal growth—things they might not have focused on before—and actually enjoy the process. Habit I’m BuildingLately, I’ve been focusing on developing the habit of tidying up more intentionally. Inspired by Marie Kondo’s approach, I’ve started to assess all my possessions through the lens of whether they truly bring me joy or provide genuine value in my life. This simple shift in mindset has helped me streamline my belongings and reduce the clutter that can so easily accumulate. But it’s not just about what I keep—it’s also about how I store and maintain the things I decide to keep around. I’ve made it a point to give every item in my home a dedicated space. When everything has a place, it’s much easier to clean up after myself and avoid creating unnecessary messes. This habit has brought a new sense of order and calm into my daily life. I’ve noticed that having a clutter-free environment clears up mental space as well. It’s a small change, but the impact has been huge—less distraction, more focus, and even more motivation to keep things organized going forward. Have a productive week! – Miles :) |
